While browsing Mr. Hirsch's site, we're reminded of John the Baptist's instructions to the police of his day.
As Mr. Hirsch point out, cops continue to lie (accuse people falsely) to effect confessions. Not much has changed in 2000 years.Then some [Roman] soldiers asked him, "And what should we do?" He replied, "Don't extort money and don't accuse people falsely -- be content with your pay."
